About Pučišća
Hilly Balkans! An association for perhaps not so beautiful things, but still a peninsula that proves that in order to get to the pearl, we must first open the shell. And that's how the Balkans are, full of fairy-tale places, rich history and hidden pearls, many of which are unjustly neglected and insufficiently promoted.
One of these is the town of Pučišća, located on the northern coast of the island of Brač in Croatia.
Brač is one of the largest islands in the Adriatic Sea. The island is recognized in the world for its famous white stone, from which some of the world's most prominent buildings were built. Among them are the Parliament in Vienna and the White House in Washington.
But let's get back to the village, which is quite rightly included in the ten most beautiful European villages. Oases for enjoyment and relaxation - Pučišće. The town is known for its long-standing tradition of stone processing, so it is not surprising that a stonemason's school is located here, which is unique in our region.
Visiting the school during your stay in Pučišća will be a unique experience for everyone and a return to the spirit of some past times.
Now let's take a look at the enjoyment segment and what Pučišće offers in that sense. This is a charming town with turquoise-colored beaches and stone houses covered with white roofs, which truly completes the Mediterranean atmosphere.
Pučišća is considered a town with a stormy past, but it is undoubtedly moving towards a bright future.
